My uncle still have his original '70 Bug with an H stick shift. (I think) Everything is immaculate, including the original paint job.
I'm 230lbs and every time I ride on it his wheels tends to scratch the wells. But it's cool riding it.
He gave it to his daughter and she trash the car and burn the hell out of the engine/tranny.
He got it back again. So now he's on a process of restoring it. He should've just disowned that cousin mine.
i did it cause the bug burned a main, i needed something to drive, and i wanted to stay true to my roots. i am in love with air cooled vws...i have it tattooed on my arm.
i had my blue one so low that when i put on brakes the wheels would scrub, and i couldnt go to the grocery store, or anywhere that has speed bumps.

You wouldn't be able to drive that here in AZ without tearing something apart even on the roads which some are uneven, my Tq arm was 4" from the ground and it scraped on the highway here on uneven road. Thats why mine is back up to stock height.

yea... I'm a little worried about my car once it's lowered... i should be able to clear speedbumps, but in Springfield, where I am now, all the streets dip on the sides really bad when pulling into a store or driveway... I used to scrape the exhaust on my van all the time
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...

This guy that works with my buddy got a VW tattoo on his arms, right above his wrist... shortly after that tattoo he sold his car, and bought an audi... now he has huge audi rings on his forearm. . .
Yours looks cool, not sure whats up with the crabs, but im guessing your a cancer.

i was gonna get it on my wrist, but as you can see, all of mine can be covered up by a t-shirt, i want to be able to hide them
the reason i have a crab is because my buddy got tattoo machines and wanted to tattoo me, so he found this crab and i went for it. I only had one crab and it looked lonely, so i thought the oddest thing i could do would be put it in a spiderweb, and add more, and people would be like, well are they crabs or spiders...so i have 8 little ones and 3 big ones. oh, and im a gemini.
