Hey Everybody,
I have some tech and aftermarket questions on my V6 Camaro so I thought I’d join the forums. I am an original owner of a 2001 Chevy Camaro V6. I bought the car new in August 2001. Except for different non-OEM tires, the car has been bone stock since I’ve owned her. I love my car and recently hit the big 100,000 mile mark. Currently my Camaro is close to 103,000 miles. My Camaro is Bright Rallye Red with Ebony cloth interior. I have the automatic 4 speed transmission. Options are T-tops (a must!), 6 way power driver’s seat, ASR (fancy Ferrari name for traction control), Monsoon 8 speaker sound system with CD player, Z28 16” rims and tires.
My younger brother, CamaroBoy, told me about the forum. He has a black 2002 35th Anniversary V6 Camaro (also original owner) with many, many mods. I think he found out about the site from forum member Kristen.
I was laid off in early 2008 and unemployed for a little over a year. Since I had no job, I barely drove the car and put very low miles on her. Now I have a new IT job again and the maintenance bills are adding up (driving the car a lot more than last year). I love my Camaro and look to keep her. The car has been good as my daily drive since 2001. I live in the Philly area. Need anything more, just ask.
