well mainly looking for 250+rwhp the tracks around here are all 1/8 and i just want to get down in the low 9s high 8s..(would love to get better #s than that though) last time it was raced before it became my only car, was a .933 reaction time. and was a 10.2, (my buddy can not launch). i thought about just the quick and easy way of spray, but really dont want to do that.

Maybe it was because of the extra little bit of hood blocking your view that you didn't see that raccoon coming. :D

              Welcome.

i run a 9.45@ 67.76 with a .219 r/t in the 1/8 with headers, lid, k&n, power tower, full 2.5 with no cat. This is with a 3.42 lsd car. i also have rockers and springs but have yet to run with those. with bolt ons low 9's are totally do-able.

a 9.4 would be slightly quicker than the normal z28 at the track around here. with that reaction time (.933) at a 10.2. i should most likely be a 9.8-9.9 with a fairly decent r/t. but with those numbers, looks like i just need a k&n filter on my intake, clear image headers, and a decent tune....??? i go to the track every weekend but cant race my car due to being only vehicle.

that time is about right, stock with just a k&n i was running a 9.93. and the 9.45 was stock tune and bolt ons.

as for headers, i run pacesetters with no problems, and they are alot cheaper than cia headers.

You can have a 16 second reaction time and run a 15 second 1/4 mi. I'll do it next time i'm at the track and post up pics.

i just though of how funny it would be to see a guy sitting there at the tree for forever long and everyone going "what the h3ll is he doing" then just out of nowhere he takes off 15 seconds after the green light. :poke: "hey are you ok".........:burn:
