parting out

this isnt a for sale thread or anything.

has anyone on here had success parting out an entire car?
and after parting out the car, i wanna throw whatevers left to a junk yard i guess. anyone done that? can give me a guess at how much ish i could get from the junk yard.

im just trying to decide if its worth parting the car out then junk yarding the remainds. if anyone could tell me if theyve made much off doing this or anything?

its a 98 v6 camaro. pretty much the entire thing could be parted out. if in the end i could get $1000 i would be thrilled. am i being realistic or not?

you should be able to definitely get $1000 if the car has everything on it. im guessing the engine and trans arent any count though?

actually found someone to buy the car. body is in pretty good condition but not worth driving to detroit from las vegas for man.

dude are you still interested in the car? 1000 and its yours. really just needs an intake gasket and a muffler welded back on to run prefectly. or if you just want the body, its good except has a hole in the front bumper. let me know if interested.
