I don't get them too often, but I had one yesterday... and its not totally uncommon for me to have them but I dont want to sound like a baby, compared to people that have to deal with them daily. I'd say I get them about once, or twice a month.
All I can say, is if you don't get them.. consider yourself blessed.
I can NOT function when I have a migraine, they are unbearable. Yesterday I had to leave work, because the slightest thing like the phone ringing, or computer beeping, or the time clock ticking every sixty seconds drives me insane.
The slightest light amplifies it, the sound of peoples voices, is just the Vice in which your head is in, getting tighter, and WORST of all ( in my case ) I am very sensitive to smell... and this old dumb fat hooker in the office, feels its neccesary to wear a bottle of the worst smelling perfume ive ever smelt in my entire life, daily. She wears so much, we can't figure it out, I dont know if she has terrible body odor, or a rotton vagina that shes trying to cover up, but it makes me so nauseated when shes within 50 ft of me.
Even after not eating, and I was very hungry, I went to get some food with a friend after I left work sick.. I ordered the food, and when we sat down to eat, the smell of the food turned me away, and I couldnt even eat a single bite.
If I had to deal with that type of misery on a daily basis I would definatley kill myself.
So after a long shower, a cat-nap, and probably close to O/D on medicine, it went away, and was demoted to a normal headache.
It ruined my day, and I was EXHAUSTED all night until I went to bed, and today I feel much better but I feel tired still.
Anyone else have horror stories about their headaches / migraines?
Any tips on how to help them go away?.
