A friend of mine has a brindle pit bull, he's about a year old, and he's a really good boy.
The dog is an outside dog, and has a dog house that is under a type of car port, which stays dry, and gives him the ability to leave his doghouse and not get wet if its raining.
He's not abused or anything, he listens really well and behaves... but my friend says he's not right in the head, and I kind of can see how he thinks that. If you wrestle the dog and get him worked up by playing around, he gets semi aggressive, more-so a "wont back down" type of attitude. The dog is ridiculously strong, If you tried to grab his head, and push it to the ground for example, you wouldnt be able to, he will over-power you.
Well, heres the deal. He's moving back in with his mom, because of her health and she wont let him bring 'axle', So he claims that if he can't find a home for him, he'll shoot him. I told him i'd take the dog. Ive come to know the dog and really like him, but Im not sure how he will act towards my dog, which is near the same size as axle, but just a little smaller.
they have completely different eating habits, my dog eats a little now, a little later, some after that. and this dog, chows. Before you can even pour the food into his bowl, its gone.
So I see that being kind of an issue, along with my buddy says when axle is around other dogs, all he does is 'humps'. He isnt nuetured, so I wonder if after he is fixed if that will take care of the issue, and if this outside dog can adapt to living inside / outside and living with another animal.
