  • Just for fun

Was working with fiberglass and had some left over resin. Made this free standing cup. Kids thought it was cool.

Anyone else do fun stuff with resin?

That's pretty awesome. I can't say I've ever really done anything fun with fiberglass, just body work on the t-top conversion. I'd like to make a custom sub box or something with it, I enjoyed working with it.

Is it weird my resin always comes out lighter than that? And less quanity?

That is regular poly resin with aluminum and silver powder mixed in it. Makes the resin more flexible when used for casting pieces in molds. So yeah, your resin should be clear or amber colored.
