Currently a stay at home dad due to the economy.... prior to that was construction superintendent... my buddies call me a "kept-up" man ..wife pays all bills...I get to stay home and work on the car!!!!
I couldn't imagine a server room for a casino, that place has to be huge and COLD. Im not too fond of using anything from Microsoft for a server, Ive always been fond of Linux (Umbuntu mainly), but with the room you're talking about, not sure if Linux would be the right decision. And Im sure that in a casino, you're not in any shortage of work.
Very small and freezing actually. Were a very small casino, at least compared to our other Seminole Casinos. Server room is small for floor space but full of servers (at least 50), coax spliters (40), phone system crap (a lot) and about 10,000 CAT5/6 cables.
We are in a wide area domain, so linux is in no way feasable. Dont get me wrong though, Kubuntu is fun :D... A lot of our software is propriatary (from vendor), so Microsoft is the only way to go. If and when you get into this type of IT, you will see that MS is actually the way to go (its hard for me to say that).
Thing is, he's already there. It'd be nicer to not insult someone's life decisions especially since they're not affecting anyone else. Unless they sell their fbody for a honda and preach about the horrors of modding, let it go. I don't know anything about those schools so I'm not backing them. That's simply not the point. Understand?

It was taken the wrong way. Now I see it was horribly worded. It was really to only serve as a warning, nothing more. I edited...
I risk getting fried to a crisp every day. Literally. I'm a powerline clearance tree trimmer. I climb trees all day around the powerlines and top them, trim them, cut them down. The power lines I'm working around you can't get within 8ft or they could possibly arc off you. When I don't have to climb the tree, I work out of a bucket truck.
