yes folks, another car. The 87 project is going to be parted out, as I have a new ride to be my dd, and give the Caddy some much needed rest.
1982 Datsun 280ZX. t-tops, running, needs a tune up, hatch struts, rear brakes, door/hatch seals. extremly low price. not sure on the miles, but I'm the second or third owner. Interior is in very condition, factory radio & whatnot.
pics tomorrow, or at least soon, but will be in daylight.

An S130? Nice. If it's NA you should look into doing an NA-T swap. 280ZX turbo setups can be found and swapped for dirt cheap. Give it a little more fun in the daily driving.

nope. not a turbo, I'll have time next week to look more into it & should have my TX tags in about 2~3 weeks, getting the Operation Iraqi Freedom plates for it
edit: the best part, is that it has a lot in common w/the 82 200SX that I had many moons ago, and that car was built like a tank & easy to work on
this is awesome! I am also a huge fan of the Z cars, notice how in this 80s Z they used the three like gauge pods facing you and they still use it in todays modern 350 and 370z. Driven a few 350z and they are soooo fun. Keep us updated on it!

I used to have an 82 280zx NA. I loved that car. I had to sell it when I joined the navy though. It was one of the blue/silver ones. I'd like to get a 240z someday and do a Vq35 swap. And yeah, 350z's are a blast to drive.
