I felt so bad that I had to let the bird go... but it started to fall apart. the outside was still in perfect condition though.

I am really enjoying my C5 though... and now that I looked at the pic of the drivers seat- i have to do something about that. I always put something over the seat when I drive so I forget its cracking underneath.

It is a 2000 with 19k miles when bought in Sept 2010

Nice. Get any of the C5 issues with it yet? Oil pressure sensor craps out, EBCM's burn out, steering column lock, etc etc etc?

Bird_Of_Prey -- The only thing that happened was when I had changed the keyfob battery (both were dead from the dealer which was not noticed til later that day), the car would not start. no clicking from battery, nothing. Only found one replacement battery and when the car was started (with they other key on the fob- not sure if that was a problem since that fob was not programmed) it was like the car was dead. Completely dead. It was a sunday and I was back in NJ (moved to MD) and had to get a tow to a NJ dealer. next day they said it was the battery terminal- it was corroded? Odd since it was perfect up until that point and i blame the use of the non programmed fob after i synched the other since the damn Rite aid only had one battery.

I did get an extended warranty so it was all paid for...


So far- nothing else wrong with it.




The sound system and LEDs (in vents) were all ordered at once for the Firebird but then I showed up a week later at the audio place and kept the LEDs (wanted amber but they are more red than anything), but they had to send back the Firebird stealthbox and get stuff that works with the C5.

I love the install and I still have room for carrying stuff in the back. :)
