    Need some Ideas for a DD

    I'm looking for a new car or SUV. Something in the $4-5K range.
    I've been looking at everything from
    GMC Envoy, 2002 Bonneville, 2002 Lincoln LS

    I drive about 40 kms (25 miles) per day so gas milage isn't a huge issue.

    Criteria: Must be a North American car (Big three) Preferably GM. Must have 4 doors and have leather.




    Lets hear what you guys suggest!

    Don't know the prices near you but Envoy might be kind of hard at that price. Even for the other two as well.

    I'd also take 99-04 Grand Cherokee w/ I6 over an Envoy.

        We have the highest unemployment rate in Canada so cars are cheap.

        Also, I'm waiting on a buddy to sell me his Envoy for cheap (white,165k kms, leather, touch screen) He is just unsure when he'll get a new car so I'm stuck waiting on him; figure I'll shop around while I wait.

          Freakin' love my Park Avenue. You could get a killer one in that price range.

                that isn't a bad deal if I can get him down a bit in price.

                I'm liking the GTP idea except the supercharged insurance price haha (I'm under 25)

                      Oh my lanta, I test drove the GTP today.... I love it. It felt really fast.... Even compared to the G6 GT 3.5L Convertible I've been driving.

                      I'm going to work on the dealer to see if he'll let it go cheap. :banana:

                        ill agree with scholtzky, those older park avenues...man that is a comfy easy to drive car that would rock as a daily driver. 92-98 jeep grand cherokees are probably one of my favorite cars ever, solid reliability, awsome 4wd, and THE COMFIEST Seats ever, plus if you can pick one up with a straight six, hello 300k miles and good gas mileage

                          I wouldn't lie to ya. And Red is right. Park ave.'s are even more fancy. But I love the HUD in the GTPs.

                              I'm going back for a second test drive/ have a second eye check it out because the used car dealers aren't exactly the most trustworthy of people.

                              I assume because it is supercharged I shouldn't put anything but premium in it?
