Re: Cars you have previouslyowned and have.
1) 1966 F-100 pickup-bought for $400 240ci inline six, 3 on the tree that was moved to a hurst floor shift, had to put brakes all the way around it before I could auctually drive it DRUM brakes with NO booster, had no radio, guy used a sawzaw to cut a rectangular hole in the steel dash to install one, yeah and a hole in each steel door. No seatbelts and the only thing padded in the truck was the top of the dash and the seat. at 150k miles the straight 6 was smoother than my 3.8
2- 1988 s15 jimmy 2.8ltr 5speed POS, well most of the truck was great, motor was a piece of crap, this was before gm worked out the problems with the 60deg v6 put 2 shortblocks in it, original spun a bearing, second the crank broke third drove to 191k miles, rear axle seal gave out on the way to the dealership to pick up my firebird. Handed them the keys and never looked back
3. 98 firebird, daily driver lots of stuff done to it including 1LE springs which make it ride really really rough but did correct my negative camber problem
4. 2000 yamaha V-Star 1100 custom. proably $1500 in accessories and I can use my newly purchased xm radio on it :D
