Well went out screwing around with some buddies all day and afterwards I was headed to my g/f's house completely on the other side of denver so I decide to take the toll way. Well I'm crusin along about 85 to 90 on my bike in a 70 and I'm beside 2 cars and I see a cop over on the side of the road I'm like ****. He pulls out I'm like hmm wonder who hes after like I didn't know he comes up behind me lights and sirens I'm like ahhh ain't worth it so I pull over. I pull my helmet off shut the bike off. He was like going a little fast back there weren't ya. I'm like ya asks were my plate is I tell him people steal it to often its under my seat so I get it out and he runs it all and says well I ride so I know how the speed is and you weren't do to reckless cause I only got you @ 85mph so just slow it down and have a nice day. I was like cool. Then later on about 1 in the morning I'm doing like 70 in a 40 cause its freezing cold and I was headed home from my g/f house and I get flashed so I slowed down and waived. Then I get spot lighted a little bit down @ a stop light. I don't know what I was doing wrong there but he didn't pull me over so I didn't care. It was a fun day I'm headed out to do some more miles so ya.

You lucked out alot man, especially getting a cop who rides.

I got pulled over and got a ticket for imprudent speed and improper start. He said he heard my exhaust and followed it till he found me so he knew I was speeding. Imagine that? I wasn't speeding so he wrote imprudent speed which is defined as "Too fast for the surrounding area" and lists examples of traffic, children, weather etc. No traffic, no kids, no parked cars, beautiful sunny day, nothing, and I never hit 25 mph on the road I was "speeding" on. Heres my favorite part though, according to his report, for my improper start, I "broke traction of the rear tire and emitted a squeeling noise" as I took a left turn at about 10 mph from a stop sign. Of course no one believed me (17 at the time) and they agreed to drop the points if I paid 290 dollars for the fines. His story didn't even add up or make sense but no one cared. Luckily my parents belived me.

So yes, you lucked out big time, lol.

I'm trying to live getting on the xway here.. and get pop'd doing 94 in a 65. Cop flat out told me..."he was giving me it in full BECAUSE I was on the bike" after he just told me he was letting all the cagers run at 85...

Court date is set for end of July. Can't wait to hear what the judge/magistrate says about this one. I'm riding in with my full gear and a tie.

See if he thinks I'm a "punk kid" then...

the person i got my car from had to get rid of soem cars because his son( has a 92 z28) got alot of tickets and one of them was from squealing his tires. he had the car in neutral or park at a light and the light turn green so he hit the gas and paniced i guess cause it wasnt going and put it in drive and the wheels squeeled and he got a ticket.

I accidentally did something similar to that my second week driving. I got pulled over but the cop was a sweet *** guy. No ticket. [img]smile.gif[/img]
