1. A mustang with under 400HP NA trying to spray (with a magical yet to be installed nitrous kit) on a supra bearing over 600HP. </font>[/QUOTE]Like I said, you obviously need to go back to school before you try and hang out with the big dogs.
- Independant Rear Suspension VS Liveaxle Rear Suspension.
- 6spd Manual VS Build stalled Automatic
- sub 3000# curb weight VS 3600# curb weight
Should I get going? If you know the basics abou drag racing and motorsports you will have known theres more to racing than horsepower and torque.

Shane, have you got WOT at 27-28 psi yet? Do you powershift? Must be a crazy feeling when it hits full boost.

You sound like an old timer.
I am not swinging from anyones nuts. I know some guys with some actually well built supras, and well built mustangs. The well built mustangs stomp a mudhole in the supras in a drag race, but they are all running turbos, with more boost than the supras. The nitrous mustangs are not as fast and not as reliable.
A 302 isn't exactly a torque monster.
I have a 302, that I would we willing to bet that it makes LESS torque than your 302, yet will smoke the **** out of it NA, when it's done being restored. Horsepower will win races if setup correctly.
Being a "big dog" you would know that.
I say again, both of you should post specs or stop bragging.

I know several guys who have bought stock supras, removed the cats, gone a little larger on the turbo, popped on slicks and done as good or better, time after time.
Supra guys don't "strip" cars down either. Most of the fastest supras in the world still have AC. Stripped down is not a street car.
I think KBeezy would have a good figting chance, but I don't know anything about his car. I can guestimate the supra because I have been around them some. All I know is, he will need a good amount of spray.
