Replace the power window motors on a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis? Because ALL 4 window motors went bad, so we have been driving around w/ no AC w/ all the windows up in Florida! It's like an oven! [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img]
We are only going to replace the front 2 for now since it is getting much cooler outside, and all the local shops say it will be over $450-$500 for just the front 2! So I thought I could get some used ones from a junkyard and put them in myself. Do you think I could do it? Or is it too difficult? Thanks!!! [img]smile.gif[/img]

No, over a period of a couple months. Just recently (2 weeks ago) the drivers side went bad so now all 4 are broke. Could I fix them myself? Thanks! [img]smile.gif[/img]

You can do anything yourself, you might have to drill out some rivits and drill in some holes for bolts for the new one. Just do it.
