Dude, don't sell your car because of what your friends have. You'll regret that high school bull$it a couple of years down the road. (I know you're not in high school, but you have to admit, that is high school BS.) Besides, I'd be WAY more embarrassed driving a little Mazda econobox than an automatic Camaro. Keep the Camaro and learn to drive on a M6 LS1 car when you can afford it. You'll be happier that way. I understand wanting to learn how to drive a stick, I used to want one so bad. Now I have a cammed/high stalled automatic that will SPANK any stickshift car my friends ever had. I'm not embarrassed in the least that I could barely get a manual car around.
jrschultz also gave a very good suggestion: the 5spd Camaros/Firebirds are getting cheaper now.
Thanks for the opinion ....... yeah, that was kind of my final decision......... my dad told me that he doesn't care if i take it out once a day to learn it .......so i have been doing that .........i would have to say i am improving every day and now i can atleast take wherever i want (avoiding any inclined stop) ......... i love my camaro too much .......... i am a huge apperance kinda guy .....thats why i just can't give up the appearance factor of camaro....... also, the gas mileage  ...............it surprizes me everyday that how GM made a car so appealing, powerful yet fuel efficient 9 YEARS AGO, it's almost unbelievable.............. my next car HAS to be a stick shift...........it's a fun way to drive ........... and i think my chiose is either a fbody LS1 (they might be just a little too long on the road) or might pick up a gto cuz their pretty cheap these days with 30-45k miles .................. "jrschultz" thanks for the site ..........i'll check it out............ btw, good luck selling you Mazda.........anyone who's skeptical about buying this car here's the report.........it's an excellent beater/2nd vehicle........ride is incredibly smooth, interior is really nice, gets good gas mileage .........
jrschultz do you know how can i put a new headunit in the mazda? ....... i think i typed in my car in crutchfield, and it said that i don't need a dash kit for my mazda ................ so, how do i take out the old radio? do i only need the harness?
