Was that a rare option then? I have no idea why you would want a single exit exhaust, especially like that one. It looks ricey enough with a single chrome tip, but when there are cutouts for two and only one is filled, it just looks retarded.
Well, they certainly weren't common. In '98, when ASC won the contract for converting WS6s, SS and WS6 cars came from the St. Therese plant w/ a GM-installed SOTL (Single On The Left) exhaust. In '99, GM had to tone it down a few dB (and respond to complaints about a single exhaust) and changed to a dual 2.5" chrome round tips on SS and WS6 cars.
