I'll bet you thought it was a Mustang! Ditched the N/A Legacy (for reasons im not allowed to discuss per signed paperwork) and upgraded to the turbo.

Since Hokie never uploaded decent pics of his, I suppose I'll do the honors. Also wanted to say that what I called the grandma rims on your car have actually grown on me, heh. Just washed it and decided to take some pics. Sweet little commuter (when it runs right). May actually trade it for an Evo X because of the issues im having with it... but unfortunatley they won't be out till 2008.

I've been slacking with pictures. I need to get a windshield crack fixed and I'm going to polish it in the next week or two. I have a video of the gauge sweep somewhere. I'll upload that if I can find it. It's stupid, but I love it every time I start the car.

Basically mine looks exactley the same only with no wing. I've been tossing around the idea of debadging the rear, but I don't know what I'm going to do about that yet.

Thanks everyone. Too bad when I got in the car this morning, the dash lit up like a christmas tree with warning lights and beeps. It's currently being towed to the dealership with a whopping 3,707 miles on the car. Maybe they will tell me this is normal operation too?

Debadge for the clean look? Or debadge as in sleeper type deal? You should upload the gauge sweep. You had that cool sig of it I seen. Where did that go?

Debadged for a clean look. I really don't care about sleeper status, but it is nice avoiding the unwanted attention from ricers and cops. Most people don't know what it is anyway.

I'll look for the video tonight. I just moved this weekend so who knows what box my camera is in. I don't have a sig right now because I'm not currently a donating member and I haven't gotten around to paying again. I really like that picture though.

You know whats interesting about that pic... it shows a red ring around the fuel gauge, but we don't have that...

And obviously it's in Km/h. :p

I don't know if he has had any other problems with it, but some cars, including his, have a stutter when you are accelerating.

The problem has been around since 05 and Subaru still hasn't figure out how to properly tune the cars. The only known cure is getting the car pro tuned and their isn't a way to tune the 07s yet. The STi has the same problem.

To my knowledge no one has figured out exactley what causes it. Some people have speculated it's the electronic throttle body not opening and closing like it should. Others have said it's the dual mass flywheel.

Sometimes it hurts it a lot, because the car would literally buck just killing your acceleration.

Besides the stutter, I've had a few hard starts, and yesterday morning it was stuck in Sport mode, flashing lights and the check engine light at me so I had it towed to the dealer. It arrived at 1:00 Monday. The service department is open until 7. I went there Tuesday at 5 and they didn't even check it out yet. They had no intentions of looking at it until Wednesday. So in the meantime, im driving some grandma outback wagon. Considering my history with this dealership, the amount of times my two cars have been in for service, the fact I had Subaru of America involved with BOTH cars, you think they'd give me the courtesy of running a quick test considering the BS Subaru vehicles have put me through.

Oh well, I keep thinking about just trading it in and take the loss. Its too bad, because if it ran right, its an awesome car. :(

Lets hope they fix it this time?

My computer isn't setup yet (I hate unpacking), but I'll post that video as soon as it is. I'm guessing that guage sweep picture is from a canadian member. I never noticed the km/h. I don't know why they have made so many different guages over the last three years. You would think they would just stick with one set.

Well... I get a call Wednesday, after im 45 min away from the dealer on my way home from work.

Rep - Good News! Turns out the light was just a fluke! It meant nothing! We verified with Subaru that it was just a 1 in a million chance malfunction... So we reset the computer, then drove it 50 miles to make sure the light didnt come back, and it didn't so you are all set.

Me - So basically, you knew it was a "fluke" malfunction when you called Subaru, but you decided to use my car as your delivery vehicle and drove it for 50 miles... Did you put gas in it?

Rep - Um, No, I didnt know you had that agreement with Joe... (Service Manager)

Me - No, I didn't have an F'in agreement, but you are telling me you went joy riding in my F'in car and you can't even put the gas back in it?

Rep - Sir, I'll have someone call you back.

I get a call 20 min later, a voice mail, come pick up your car, we got the ok to replace your gas.

I go pick up the car, the interior is FILTHY, scuff marks all over the door and they put the gas to 3/4's, approximatley where it was before. They couldn't even fill it, and I'll bet you 10 bucks they used 87 octane. Plus the shift knob was twisted like a 1/4 turn out of whack. Big deal, but it just goes to show you the "Care" they took with my vehicle. Im done with these f*** tards.

Oh yea, ok, it was just a fluke. Write it off as normal operation right? Sh*t happens right? Something caused the computer to trigger the light... :rant:

I know its the same wherever you go, but im jinxed with Subaru.

Dont worry bout the vid, I could always just record it if I was bored anyway.

sucks your still having problems with Subaru. i hoped after the last car issue's youd be done with problems from them.

id seriously consider selling it.

i now know not to look into subaru for anything.

hope things turn around for you.
