Well, I was getting tired of bouncing around in the f-body and was looking for something a little more comfortable to drive. Something that's not too loud and gives my passengers more comfort and leg room. So, I went out and bought a Solara. It's VERY comfortable compare to the Camaro. It's got a 3.0 V6 rated 200 HP and 215 ft/lb torque. So, technically I didn't lose much.
Before any one of you start flaming me, let me just say a few things. I have been driving Camaro for more than 4 years now. It's a great car. But time moves on. I can't keep my bad-boy camaro look forever. I WILL deff come back to f-body scene in a year or two and it'll be a weekend/track car but it wont be a v6. It'll deff be a z28/ss whatever. I love camaro more than anyone in this forum but it's time to grow up. I gotta start a family soon. I have to start taking responsibility on my shoulder.
Basically, I have plan to tint the windows, iphone holder/interface and install my Blaupunkt indash LCD from the camaro. I wouldn't mind putting a small amp and sub (300ish RMS) so that I get a little thump out of my music. That's about it! I am 24 years old and it's time to get serious. I have just graduated in July and I am making pretty decent money for my age. If everything goes well, I am hoping to attend University of Pennsylvania for a six month course and after that I will be all done. I will still hangout in this forum because I love u guys! This was my first home away from home.
I took the camaro out for a drive in the afternoon. Probably my very last drive in my camaro. My eyes were getting teary when I parked the car for the final time :(
