how does one get a larger capacity box? do i have to contribute? if so how much? also why is it that i can never see my sent messages? i actually wouldnt mind kicking in a few bucks to freshen the site up.

10 bucks will get you all the things mentioned in the announcement at the top of each section, larger PM box included. You can pay in the User CP, under Paid Subscriptions. -

click on "User CP" on the top left
a drop down menu will appear... click on "subscribed threads"
scroll down and on the left under "miscellaneous" click on "paid subscriptions"
it will tell you all the extras you get for being a paid member
