• DYNO Forum

Jonny985 and I were among the folks who were dyno'd at the Terrapin Motorsports Car Show at College Park (U-Maryland) this weekend. And I thought, where will I post my amazing (not) numbers? May we get a dyno forum? I'd be happy to moderate, though I don't know a darn thing about it. Under the racing section would be best, I think.
I asked for the AX / RR forum last time, and we got it. How about a dyno forum, please?
Thanks!

I'm not sure if a dyno forum would really be necessary, but a dyno page, similar to the timeslips page, would really spark some interest. Just a thought...

I also, am not be sure where to post my numbers, maybe this could help clear up some confusion and generate some rivalry just like with timeslips.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Oh back off James ... did you have to come in here? Just givin' you hell ...
But there IS support for a forum! And a page! Honestly, the forum wouldn't have much traffic, but it would have some, and just like the little-used / often helpful autocross forum, should be a part of the site.

Think of it this way ... you post drag times, and then you discuss them. You post dyno numbers, and even though there's less skill involved (though not none at all), you discuss them.

YES YES YES, this is what we need! I dunno if the forum is necessary, but the dyno page should have a list of mods installed before the test. That way we could amass a real data pool for mods and solve many brand arguments before they even begin!

I also agree. It would easily answer questions for people asking "If I run such-n-such mods/cam what kinda hp should I expect?"

That would precisely answer a lot of those questions with a page that listed mods and hp/tq numbers behind them. I think it's a great idea!
