    ok

    i use internet exploer it was working fine now whe i try to load the massage board it just sits there loading for about 3 years ok so i reboot... same thing

    ok. open up aol [img]graemlins/barf.gif[/img] and it works fine, USING THE SAME ISP. tried clean temp file and cookies...nothing at. it just laod and loads and say no page to display

    no changes were made to the computer, all other web pages work fine on IE. speed test show normal speed, so the ISP didn't crap out.

    I have tried EVERTHING i can think of any ideas ????????????????????????????

      I had the same thing happen to me a few times. Kept getting DNS error. I finaly did this:


      Windows NT / 2000 / XP

      1. Load the file C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts into a text editor (Notepad is suggested).

      Note: If your Windows install directory is not C:\WINNT, use your install directory instead. Windows XP is often installed to C:\WINDOWS.

      2. Add the following text to the bottom of the file on a blank line:

      64.246.34.35 www.camarov6.com

      Note: it is recommended to seperate the IP address and domain name with a tab instead of a space.

      3. Save the file and reboot your computer.


      No problems since

        AOL uses different Domain Name Servers. If you're using Time-Warner/RR then it will happen often, if not all the time.
