  • Avatar problem - mods please help

I've got well over the necessary 1000 posts but I still can't supply a custom avatar. When I type in the URL, the picture appears in the box, then I click "select this avatar," and the picture shows up on my profile page. Then I click "Update" at the bottom, and when I post, I get no avatar. When I go back in to the profile page, the URL is gone and it shows the URL for a blank avatar. What am I doing wrong?

Works for me when I set your av. You might not be setting the the av itself.

How do I do that? I just type the URL, click "select this avatar," and that's it. What am I not doing? If you are able to set it, can you use this URL please: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-7/774518/monkey.JPG

          Thanks.

            Done. Future reference.

Click on select a different av. Then put in HTTP address, click set URL, then you will see the av show up. then click on select this av button.

This will set your av up.
