  • Mod for suspension?

Are we planning on getting a mod for suspension? It just looks kinda bad to not have a mod for something as important as this. I don't care who you choose, but someone needs to do it. I've already said I'd do it if you can't find anyone else. I just think this needs to be addressed.

Well since I don't have the ability to PM you I'll just post here how I feel about that. The STB is actually a waste of money on our cars. They are already pretty stong there so it's just not needed. SFC's are usually pretty helpful but if you ever plan on auto-xing you will be bumped way up in class because of them. Also they really mask the symptoms of a poor suspension more than anything. Instead I would suggest a good set of shocks, springs, and sways. Which shocks, springs, and sways depends on what you want to to with your car. Depending on how much you lower your car depends on if you need an adjustabl PHB or not. To help reduce wheel hop a you will either need to replace the LCA bushings or the LCA's themselves but choose the bushings for those wisely.

You have a turbo on a non-turbo from the factory car whic I think puts you in street modified or just plain Modified which is indeed the "this is gonna suck" class. I think www.frrax.com has the guidlines on the site somewhere plus a lot of help from members when you really get into it. I only have the rules for ESP since that is the class I've been building my car for... minus the blower, which has to come off for track days.
