Sig limit

Is there any rule that applies to HOW BIG your sig can be on this site? Recently some of the sigs that I've been noticing are quite big... so big that it's annoying! :rolleyes: ... Steve or Robert, any idea?

It was supposed to be no more than 5 text lines large. But I think the one you have should be the absolute maximum.

how is mine big? its no bigger than wes's

wes's sig is 327x148 pixels

yours (bib) is 550x220 pixels

mine is 500x95 pixels

scholtskys is really big too... 600x200

bonemaro has a pretty decent size one too: 622x252 pixels

however.... tkforpresidents huge gerbil sig is 400x367

you know you can just go into your user CP and turn off signatures

wes's sig is 327x148 pixels

Not that I care (cause it doesn't bother me at all), but if you measure in the text he has above that 327x148 pic, his is bigger than Roger's.


Hell Kala, I just measured your spaces after to post, your standard smiley at the end and your sig. Combined, your just as big a Wes too. You last post was 35 pixels bigger actually.

Besides, if he payed for a signature, why would he want to turn them off? Why not impose a limit?

Im more concerned with the actual pics themselves. I was against sigs because of it, but I can't say much seeing as tho I have one. Granted, the damn rat was obnoxiously large, so I asked him to shrink it down a little. Since Gr8 has probably the largest sig, thats what should be allowed. 650 MAX width, 250 MAX height. Its just easier on the eyes.
