Go over to ls1tech and see how it works for them.
its like a damn communist state. outrageous. just try posting something negative about a sponsor. much better this way, assuming all costs are covered by supporting members.

I can't agree totally with that...we need a few sponsors here and there, especially some bigger ones like TByrne or Thunderracing, WITH banners.

I do agree with that... I just wouldn't like to see it run completely by sponsors, as happens on other sites. On ls1tech if you post a technical question, 90% of the responses are from sponsors saying to call them.

very true. recently i went over to check out z28.com or whatever and it looks like the outside of a NASCAR vehicle, just plastered with sponsors.
i didn't care for any of it.
i don't have any experience with the sponsor/communist ways of these sites, so i will just have to take your word for it.
I got my headers and cat installed at a very reputable shop (tech sponsor). they destroyed my egr, and did a bad job overall. we are talking about a VERY well funded, fancy shop.
Whenever I mentioned it on tech, I got jumped all over. So many stupid excuses and people saying it wasnt their fault. I gave up.

If there were to be a big title sponsor, I would suggest more of a specific type of sponsor. Jegs, Summit, companies like this are so large, and their scope so broad, that it wouldn't quite fit in with the narrow scope that this board represents. Thunder Racing is a better choice. Hell, even Intense, Swann, or ZZP would be better solutions.

revamping of the site once again as a ton of stuff is outdated. Then Admins have to just add banners and such of paying sponsors. Not going to lie though, sponsors like to see active sites with active management. Not just a site that likes to BS in the lounge and post whore
