word filter sucks

i dont know whos in control of the word filter. but its annoying that it picks out the words even if its part of another word... take a look at my location... i live in D!ckinson.... why does that get censored....?

That's handled on the admin side. There is a way to prevent it. It just depends on whether or not the filtered word is in quotes or not.

I post on several other automobile forums with no language filter at all. Never had an issue. Seldom are these offensive words directed at another member. If they are, give the potty mouth a 3 day ban and a stern warning about repeat offenses. Next time is a permaban.
