1st Time at the track

I ran my car last night with these mods: ram air kit, high flow cat, smooth air lid, k&n air filter, and magnaflow catback (automatic transmission and 111,000 miles!)
they ran a pro tree ( all three yellows then green)

60': 2.181
330: 6.459
1/8: 9.977 MPH:70.50
1000: 13.001
1/4: 15.578
MPH: 87.61

I have headers to put on this week, and i have an exhaust leak from the mani somewhere. Im goin to take off the cat when i install the headers then see if i can do better :D

awesome man! question, what were you launchign at rpm wise? how were you launching? i have similar mods and i cant get my tires to stop spinning :burn:

i do a good burnout and let it spin the tires out of the box to make sure i get the water and stuff off all the way. I lined up and held brake down went to about 2000 rpms the green light floored it!

haha my tires are actually pretty good, maybe not the best for drag racing

nitto 555 extreme drags. I used to spin completely off the line before I got these. Now these hook up amazingly. Even with an open diff.

well i have an open diff, 3.42 gears, flowmaster, K&N, and whisper and i can get a squeal off the line (by just slaming the gas, not brake launch)... or power brake it and burn as much as u like

lucky. Idk its wierd. i can powerbrake fine. Just wen i go from a dead stop its hard to squeal. Is 15.57 even a decent time for my mods? lol

mine is "hard"to squeal i guess, since u pretty much have to put it on the floor... as for the 1/4 mile time, idk bc i never been to the track
