Almost cracked 12's

Left lane, car 16.

Got a nice cool morning to run at Mason Dixon Dragway. Previous best was 13.7, added injectors, torque arm, and more tuning since then.

I ran another 13.1 with a 1.8 60 earlier in the day. I think the car has 12's in it with the perfect launch in the right weather. This run was with a 53 jet or about 100hp, I bumped the jet up to a 55, but didn't get in another good run. My nitrous stopped spraying on me all together. I haven't dug into it yet, but it's acting like the 2nd solenoid in the line is frozen and not opening up. I was running pig rich all day 10.5 to 11.0 afr, definitely some time to be freed up in that tune. Unfortunately this will be the last run for the car as it sits unless someone wants to buy her as a whole. http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=97723 There's a lot of potential in this setup.

DA in Maryland Sunday was 800 Feet below sea level. Mason Dixon is Out in the hills, But the air should have still been great. I find that Capital or Cecil are both about 2 1/2 10th faster then 75-80 or Mason Dixon. You would have been well into the 12's at either.

Wow, that's awesome to know. I was hoping for low 13's and was surprised to rip off a 13.1 on my third run. Knowing I could have been in 12's is great. This was my first time out with this setup and first strip run of any kind in 2-3 years so I was still getting used to the setup, makes me want to hold on to her for a few more months.

very tempting...and don't think I haven't thought about it, but I'm certain that as soon as i do this I'm gonna blow up the rear end or the motor or something. Then I'll just be pizzed at myself.

ahhh cmon all that hardwork is starting to pay off!

It would be sweet to get her into the 12s. This was with running a full 2.5 inch exhaust, cat and all. Would probably get some good gains just from unhooking it. And working on that tune.
