Almost 13's

I woulda had 13's today, but I blew the frost plug on the car, and all the stores were closed....so I was done for the day after only 2 runs....2 best runs Ive had though...14.13 on one, and 14.082 on the other.

I had 30psi in the slicks...I wanted to do 32psi out back, and air the fronts up to 40psi...I also wanted to stiffen the shocks in the back up quite a bit...they are on the 2nd softest setting.

If I had of done this, and let the car coold down (it was hot because I drove it for 1.5 hours to get to the track) I know 100% I would of had a 13 second time slip. So I'm kinda p*ssed...Right when I broke, the new camaro showed up and pulled beside me...he started racing...was a 2ss, he ran 14's all day...Would of LOVED to get a video of me racing one, especially one where I might of won...

Thanks, I know, he wasnt though...could of been his first time out...it didnt look like he was beating on it hard either...no powershifts...the launches looked soft...so ya, it was an SS though, because it had the ss badges on it...and I dont think you can get those aftermarket yet...

Nice times, love how uou spanked the newer GT, and the announcer saying sounds like a nice little small block in the Camaro. The prople would have laughed if they newer Mustang had been beat by a older style Camaro.LOL Nice work once again.

haha, ya, my buddy ran like sh*t all day...couldn't get a good launch down...You cant really see it from the video there, but he actually almost hit the wall....I looked back in my rear view and was like "Oh Sh*t"...he ran a 16 on that run, and thats why it looks so far. Regardless though, I have a faster timeslip then he's ever been able to get in his mustang so the win is still legit...just it would usually be a much closer race....He can usually get a 14.3-14.4 (which is what I normally run, when I could only get 18-19psi in the tires, because I never had a compressor)

exactly...just any new car on the market I would love to get a video of me running, even like the genesis coupe...something most people havent raced yet. But racing the new camaro is probably the best...too bad my 5$ frost plug decided to sh*t on me...
