Hi guys, i haven't had a chance to go down to the track yet bc well its been closed for the winter. I was wondering what my car would run in the 1/4 mile with the mods that i have done. Im just looking for an estimate if someone had the same general mods as me. And im always looking for advice
    Thanks,
    Frank

your running stock tune with a cam? and you have 2 1/4 piping with a cam? not the greatest idea

you have crappy 3.08 gears and a restrictive exhaust, do you have stock intake?

The GT1 cam doesnt rely heavily on a tune...although it will help...the GT1 is a fairly mild cam...

pretty nice whip man, i'd say you're looking at low 15's, possible high 14's if you finished up that exhaust and got in a decent launch/60ft.

i see you have headers and cam, but the rest of your exhaust is stock --- that's just easy power waiting there for you man --- open it up! even if you upgraded with a high flow cat and full 2.5" piping you'd see improvement. definitely look into your intake setup as well and get your engine breathing.

and while you're at it, get some nice tips to finish things off

I cant believe anyone would even think its ok to put a cam in a car and not tune it! Whats the point of a cam? to let in more air and fuel! but if you dont tune it theres no fuel being added! what is wrong with yall hahahah! I speak from experience too, I had abbotts na cam for 3 years... made it trap over 101... Im sorry but if you dont tune it, I dont care how small of a cam... its such a waste.

Fuel trims add some for dd. But I wouldn't WOT it.

you would have to take a scan to see injector duty and how lean it goes...I wouldn't WOT without a scan...but being such a mild cam, it will most likely be ok...but like anything, the most power will come with a tune...hell even a stock car with just a tune will make a difference...

i bet you will make 15.2 or so like it sits

get a tune and 3" exhaust and you shouldnt have a problem seeing 14.8 or less

The MAF is going to read the increased air entering the motor and add more fuel. I'm willing to bet it's pig rich and when it's tuned they take fuel out. I would be more worried about knock retard than fueling. GM sends these things out so rich at WOT it should be a crime.
