Thats true...IIRC they had us at like 11.xx afr at WOT...

With those mods and a tune. You would see a 15.1-15.3 Because of the crappy 3.08 gears but; You don't have a tune so you're looking at 15.5-16 second quarter mile with no doubt in my mind.

I'll even put $100 dollars down to anyone that thinks he'd be faster without a tune. :)

low 15's, yes, but not in the 16's. you can get a bone stock to run high 15's all day.

those numbers mean nothing...they dont take into account any weather conditions, fatigue on the vehicle, timing advance/retard, gear ratio, tire size, friction vs slip on launches, etc, etc, etc...I maintain that it should break just into the 14's depending on the condition of the motor and DA etc...

better run better than a mid 15. My 3.8 ran a 15.4 with just a short shifter

I don't think it will be quite that fast......15.10-15.40. Only if he can get it off the line with out blowing the tires off.

those things can't be anymore accurate than your average butt-dyno.

and if it's been said once, it's been said a thousand times here: dyno numbers and track numbers are totally different games.

there's enough testimony from the guys here to see that with that setup, your average driver would be capable of low 15's (seeing as stock can touch mid to high 15's), and if he had a better gear setup and a good launch, he may break just into 14's like letzride said.

only one way to find out: spring track day.

                                Eh, for fun sure.

Ya know, in road and track articles I look for track times more than I do horsepower anymore. All that power means nothing if you can't get it down the track quickly. Weight, gearing, tires. They make a huge difference.
