couldnt even break out of 14's today...best run was 14.03 @ 96mph. I don't know what the deal is...The odd time the car refuses to shift out of 2nd, then I was getting more knock...one run I got 11* of knock!! no idea why...at the end of the day in an attempt to do some good, I mixed 94 octane with 110, (prolly 98ish since I had more 94 in there)

That got rid of most of the knock, but there was still a little left...very minute, like the odd 1.5*s

I don't get it, I ran 13.8 cam only...now I have head work done and Im running the same (last time) and slower this time...The car feels faster then before though, I dunno what to make of this, or what my next steps are...

DA was between 1562-2382 above sea level...nothing crazy.

    Was 77* with 50% humidity. 675 foot elevation, with a 101.5 kpa.

    2002 SOM Z28 Camaro - 12.9 @ 104 mph
    1996 3800 Camaro - 13.43 @ 100.77 mph

Apparently the announcer kept saying I was getting 1 tire fires, but I dunno...I have a brand new Eaton posi I put in last year when I grenaded the rear end. I dont know what was goin on with that, but I need to look into this as well. Anyone know how to tell if the posi is fried?

Its easy to tell if one tire isn't spinning just do alittle burn out , could even fo it in your driveway if you wanted and just see if theres 2 tire marks. You have a lock up switch so you should be able to do a quick one. You could also desenatize the KR sensors like I have at the PCM with resistors 40%, really helped mine out with false KR. Also will still pick up KR before its audible. So if I took out 40 % of mine and haven't had a problem in 8 -9 years , I couldn't imagine a stock system and how much it gets. My Dad always told me the 3800's had alot of false KR, but it looks like in 05' they started to fix their problems since they added 4+ degrees of timing to their 3800's. My Dads 05' Buick has 27-28 degrees timing stock in the High octane tables in Hptuners. Compared to our 22-23 degrees timing in our High Octane tables. No wonder his buick is pretty quick for a 3800lb car. LOL

Do you have a write up on how you desensitized the KR sensor?

            Re: Nothing but disappointment.

I think I have the sheet on how to set it up , but I lost the program that tells you what size resistors to use to get a certain percent, they have taken it off the internet so I guess you can experiment.LOL I'll post it in a sec. Looks like I'm going to have to do somw digging to find it, its been awhile, I think I sent it to Meatyshells before. But the original was on my old computer my wife got in the divorce. It was on my laptop but it crashed and had to be retored completely, so lost it. I have a copy of how it is set up and will try to find that.

ya steve Id like to desensitize these sensors...maybe not 40%, but 25-30%
