Just back from the track in the new(for me) Hotrod.

Loaded, Leather on 245/50/16 worn out Khumo's 1/4 tank of fuel and my 6'2" 250lbs body.

First pass at 11:15am 2.16 60ft 1/8th 8.943@86.79mph 1/4 13.72@104.34mph Left Lane

Hot Lapped 2.096 60ft 1/8th 8.906@ 81.8mph 13.710 @103.69 mph Right Lane

3rd pass blew the tires off(someone had just leaked antifreeze all over the start line)
2.951 60ft 1/8th 12.074@73.78 mph 1/4 17.096@101.68mph Right Lane

Last pass at 2pm 2.177 60ft 1/8th 8.940@82.76 1/4 13.729@103.98mph Left Lane.

Had fun no one got PB's today(just me;)

Its been three years since I was at the strip.

I will get the DA later.

Well its as fast stock as my 94 LT1 was modded.

The 94 had the rear seats and belts removed,SLP 1 3/4 headers,CAI RLCA's Panhard rod,DDSFC plus free mods to go 13.71at101.xx
My LT1 had way less than 1/2 the mileage when it ran that.

When I got the 94 there was 18,000 miles on the Odo and it ran 14.01at99.xx stock

Tune and a 2800 stall got me to 13.417at102 with DR's

I think this thing(99) will run 13.4's on DR's the way it sits.

I had 2.73s in my TA at one point. its got 3.73s now :)

It's got pretty big 1/8th MPH on the first pass. What's up with that?

Not sure,other than it had some cool down time.

Second pass was hot lapped.

The Fourth run it had been running in the staging lanes for 20 minutes.

Too busy that day.

Just got my SLP LID and Blackwing Filter today and put them on.

Ordered the OBX Long Tube Header Kit W/Resonators and YPipe yesterday.

Getting a tune as well,one of my friends has LS1 Edit.

Im gonna be hitting the track soon in my 00 z28. 2.73s, slp lid and smooth bellows, LM cat back, nitto drs. Really hoping i can get 13.5

I wish you luck,I am hoping for a 13.2 or 13.3.

Then its a TQ converter and tranny rebuild in the spring as I go for 12's.

Its a lot easier when you start with 300+ HP:burn:

I think I will be at TMSP on Sat the 23rd.
