Re: Pulling the belt
In AZ a reg. batt will last 2-3 years, a Optima here will last 8-10 years, the heat kills the batteries and Alt. here. my last Optima lasted over 8 years, took it out of my one vehicle and put it in the Camaro and it finally died when after I gave it to my ex-wifes brother who ran it on his boat. Thay are worth the investment, my wifes grand am went through 2 bateries , both interstate batteries with in 4 years we had it, the pro rating sucks on the checker /auto zone battteries it was still like $60 to replace it. Could have bought a $140 Optima Batt. and been done. The red tops last very well here with the heat, never tried the yellow tops here, but they are for colder states.
