Your time is not bad. Mine ran a best of 14.8 before I installed my supercharger. Relocation brackets might help you get some traction if that is an issue. Did you try borrowing a friends DR's? Mighty help also.

The only one that I know with DR's are on a 03 Saleen, so that wouldn't really work. I'm honestly not worried about them though. My brother has pulled a 2.0 60' on the same tires as me. I'm thinking the relocation brackets should help out a bit since my car is lowered 2". Eibach springs:tdown:. Another thing I might try is to pick up a set of stock height rear springs and try them. I'm fairly confident I could offset my weight in the car pretty easily. I think 220lbs wouldn't be too hard to get rid of. My damn front sway bar weighs a good amount itself.
If I cant oh well, but I'll go for it anyway. I'm going to be doing that L67 swap sometime soonish after I get another DD. I just want to see what I can get from how it is now.
What tires are on it now? Have you done basic repairs? Fuel filter? Plugs? Wires? Air filter? Take all the crap out of the car? Floor mats, owners manual, backpack with 50lbs of books, that kind of stuff. Where are your air pressures for your tires. Pump them fronts up to 50psi. Rears depend on what tire you have. All those mods, ever think of getting a tune? Should be worth 10rwhp all day. Don't worry about your stock torque arm, I'm going 1.50 60's on a stock v6 torque arm and a poly mount. Start there, then we can move on to the hard stuff.
Tires are 245/50 Firestone Firehawk Wide oval Indy 500s and are at 32 psi for every run. A lot of crap is out of the car: back seats and belts, floor mats, jack, spare, ac compressor, condenser, ac lines, carpet insulation, and the mat above the fuel pump. I could probably use some fresh plugs, but really thats about it for a tune up. I have a poly torque arm bushing in already. I would get a tune, but that is pretty expensive for my 0 dollar budget and I didn't want to tune it until that swap in done.
As far as things I have learned over time: I used to leave at 2500rpm which kept me at a 2.2 60' until I read I should try leaving at 1500rpm which did bring it down to the 2.15.
I could lose some weight though the spohn front sway bar is a porker, stb, passenger seat, driver's side power seat bracket, door panels, carpet, speakers, stereo, mis. crap around the car, and I usually go with more than half a tank of fuel.

Ditch the front sway bar and hangers, take the rear tire pressure down some, pump the fronts up, and practice. You could probably get a tenth or two there.
