Ok, explain to me how someone can have a slower 1/4 mile time but a faster trap speed? For example, how come one car can run a 15.07 @ 90.93 but another run a 15.27 @ 93.97 ??
Wouldn't the car that's running faster, also get there faster?
Or did I kill too many brain cells last night (new year's eve) to figure this out?

well, some cars make up for a slower trap speed in the 60'
For instance, overall your going to see that autos will get a better 60' than manual, but manual will have a better trap speed (talking stock or lightly modified, and both y87)
the 3.42 gears in the auto give a stronger bottom end, but slower top end.

thanks guys,
couldn't find this in search, so I looked at all postings. Just wondering though, for Rick Johnsons Pro AM III "When stock it ran high 15s at 87mph. Since the mods it hasn't been raced. "
When I took the bonneville to Kilcare last year, did a best of 17.1 @ 88 mph. unfortunately the timeslips are gone :( so I caint look up the 60' & 1/8.
