15.286 ET at 88.15 MPH with a 2.112 60'
That was my first run of the night out of three. Other two were 15.5's (Traction wasn't as good as the first one)
I picked a good day to go, they had just resurfaced the track that day.
I just slammed the gas, no revving. Chirp, hook, & go.
I can get a 15.2 with better traction
Plus, I just got a job today, can finally feed the car
No mods since my last run at the track, which was a:
15.428 ET at 87.69 mph w/ a 2.147 60'
My better times? How?
Well, first off, it was chilly tonight, but was definitely colder last time.
I know traction made a major difference, much better tonight.
Also, last time I went, I had the jet chip in there for only a couple days. It has been given plenty of time to adjust the computer & relearn values, so, that probably made a difference as well.
With full exhaust, I will hit 14's no problem. :D
Today has been a good day.
Now, I want to ask everyone something. I want a tire that is great for track & street. So what has your experience been?
I'm leaning towards nitto or kumho.
I will go with nitto if I can get some info on how they handle in the rain.
