I am going to race against these two vehicles soon:
2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 w/4.8L V8 (270 HP ,315 TQ, 6100 Lbs, no mods)
1995 Mustang GT 4.6 (Has exhaust and chip)
I don't think the truck will be any problem at all, but I don't think I'll beat the GT. I ran a 10.245 in the 1/8 and probably a 7.2 0-60. Anyone have a good opinion on how it should go??

is the stang auto or 5 speed. my friend has a 96 stang gt and his best time in the 1/8 was a 10.3. traction ws a problem, but he has an auto and those suck off the line
97 CAMARO RS
12.9@103mph
best 60ft..1.9 ( on street tires)
1.7 (on gas)
turbo supra 12.5@119mph (street tires)
new times to come sporting the sp63gt
Truck= you'd whip
Mustang GT=close race. It depends on how far you'll be going. I think he'd start to pull a little later on ya!

ok dont worry bout the silverado..after all its a truck! lots of wind resistance...ill eat them all day! Plus its the smaller of the V8s...but that stang does have an advantage over you..unless he cant drive stick or has traction problems..and the autos (AODE) are rather horrible...good luck..be safe..

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
