• Raced Rich D at the track Saturday

Went to Bradenton with a bunch of V6 Mustangs and FBodies and since me and rich were the only 2 cars that were almost eqaul we raced. I jumped off the line hard off him and i was ahead the whole way till the the very end. I ran a 13.70 and he ran a 13.5 but he beat me to the line by .067!!! I was surprised to be ahead of him for so long. Pretty good race. It was fun out there seeing so many V6's running. More V6's then V8's out there that day.

Hey Shane: It looks like you are still running your stock I-pipe. I would buy a 3" mandrel bent I-pipe from dynomax to add to your current exhaust setup. With that stock pipe, you are running way to much back pressure for nitrous use. I bet you could pick up a couple tenths with that change. I think they run ~$100.

actually, his shot was a little higher that day, it was a 125, but he seriously bogged off the line. Rich had a 103mph trap speed, what was yours Shane?

not to mention rich didn't have a clue if he had good bottle pressure cause his gauge wasn't working and he had a huge leak where his gauge hooks up :D

Shane-
Great race! You def. have a strong car with alot of potential.

Just to clear things up, yes i was running a 125, Shane whipped my a$$ of the line ( I haven't ran since last March, and i was hella rusty ) I got the run on vid.... you have almost a car on me before i passed the tree! I did have a nice gap to make up, but yeah Shane is right, i ended up with the win by .067! Closest race i have ever had.

Geoff is right as well, with all the problems i had with the gauge issue, it was hard to tell what my actual psi was.

Too bad you wont get a rematch with my bird though, its already almost completly stock again. Maybe with the new project you can get a shot again Shane
