What do you need in terms of safety stuff to run one of our cars at a drag strip? I'm talkin like helmets, cages, ds safety loop, etc. I don't think any of this would be required for a 14+ sec run, but then again, I've never been to the track. I've also heard you need to wear long pants, that true?
If anyone has personal experience with Sears Point Raceway's rules, that would help since that's where I'm planning on going once they re-open.
No leaky fluids.
Helmet is being cautious.. some tracks dont' require slower cars to have them.
Working seat belts!!!
Thats about it.. when you start going 11's and such, then is when you have to worry about roll cages.
DS Safety loop is also not a required item for slower cars... BUT, if you have a 2 piece driveshaft, you might want to swap it out for a strong 1 piece. 2 piece DS's break very easily.

where Mike24,RamairTA,Judothrasher,and I run your required to wear a helmet,and seatbelt is recomened.Like Magnus said you need a rollcage for 11.9 and lower and a parachute if you are faster than 140 mph.Also a DS saftey loop when you break the 11s.
