        Octane should help you unless you are pinging or if your car has a chip.

        I wouldn't even worry about taking your system out. WIth a 2.5+ 60' your number one goal before anything else should be to get that to at least a 2.1.

        For every tenth reduction in the 60' there is two to three tenths overall drop in ET. You should also be able to pick up a few miles per hour.

        How did you launch? Did you spin hard?

        I remember my first race I did a 17.0 @ 80. I spun so hard my car did the 1-2-1. Spun into second then hooked and downshifted back into first!
