going track on saturday, need a few pointers

first off, i'm running on street tires (potenza 245-50-16), i'm thinkin of dropping the PSI to 27 or 28. also, i'm gonna do runs w/ and w/o the maf screen, and some runs with the whisper, and then the 'rigged' PVC mock up of a KN FIPK. it's gonna be fun, if nothing else, i'm focusing on 60' times, 1/4 doesn't mean as much to me right now.

yeah lower your rear tires to 26-27 psi, drop the clutch @ 1k rpm. Don't be lazy, push your car to the staging lines. Pop your hood up to cool your engine quicker. Don't drain your battery by listening to jams while you're waiting to race. :rolleyes: :D [img]tongue.gif[/img]
Punch it on 3rd yellow light. Speed shift right before the redline. Make sure the engine temp is below 160. The lower the better. ;) Have fun Jordie! and Good luck!
