Does powerbraking to do a burnout, and stalling a stock converter hurt the engine or transmission? I usually don't go too hard on my car when doing the burnout (very light on the brakes), but I stall my stock converter between 1500 to 2250 rpms before I launch. I'm still under warranty, but I don't want to have to push my car down the road, then call roadside assistance if I blow something up. ;) Just curious...

So long you dont do it too long or too often you shouldnt have a problem. If you're worried, try to keep the transmission fluid cooler by using a tranny-cooler ($50 mod).2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
