• drag videos (13.5@107 & 14.5@95)

Well I finally managed to get some video footage of my car from last November at Rockingham. This was right after I installed the NX wet kit. This was my first run on the bottle at the track, my best ended up being a 13.2@108.

My NA times stunk that day, car was running horribly rich with the cam and jetchip combo. I never set a new best NA but I learned how to spin drag radials really well. doh!

Since then I have gone with a MAFT and ported out the TB. The MAFT really showed positive results tuning on the dyno. I picked up 10rwhp just by leaning out the fuel and advancing the timing. Overall it was a 25rwhp increase over my previous best before the cam install.

I'm heading to the track this weekend for some NA runs only. The car is much stronger than last time to the track so I'm feeling good. (not good enough to pull a tire tho) I will be running on street tires so I don't expect a really nice ET but I should see a new best mph. Should be interesting!

If you have a hard time playing the videos in your browser try downloading the links and running them from your PC.

      Very nice videos Mike.

MAFT+ is definately a necessity with a ported TB. It's really a great tool.. When they say "Horsepower in a Box.", they really meen it.

I'm looking forward to your #'s for this weekend.. Now that the car is tuned, you should pull some good MPH. ~98 maybe.

Yes, I do have LCA's, subframes, bigger sway bars, panhard par, everything polly. Not that alot of that make a difference at the track. Before the LCA's I used to get bad wheel hop. I have also noticed my rear drops a lot, and I'm only launching around 2300rpms. I'm thinking about adding a airbag in the back right and maybe some adjustable drag shocks. I have some LCA relocation brackets that I think will help but they are weld on. I eventually want to get a 12 bolt so I may save the brackets for it. Maybe I'll go with some bolt on brackets for now. I do think some kind of suspension adjustment is necessary with the added power. Hopefully I can cut my 60 ft's down under 2.0

Looks like rain for the weekend so no racing action for me. bummer
