Alrighty, I want to have my tires at the best pressure to get traction off the line.

I have stock 235/55/r16 Goodyear Eagles

I have run at 22psi before which is a huge improvement over the stock 30.

What is everyone's experience, how low should I go to get the best traction off the line without risking damaging a tire/rim/etc.

I drag too, and i have heard that 26 is about perfect especially with street radials. I usually run at 27. All you can do is try it and see what you like, but i am happy with it.

Street tires and nitrous I used 30 psi in the rear and 40 in the front.
Normal daily driving was 33 psi
Drag radials went to 21 psi
skinnies went to 40 but leak down to 35 in between passes
