I Was trying to FEEL the nittos, figure out how hard to launch, best I found was 5k+ rpm WOT clutch dump, yielded 2.217 60 ft time, I could do better, but didn't have enough trials to figure out a better launch... eneded up at

15.775 @ 87.30mph

I need more practice, I feel a LOW 15 sec run coming :D

Won't be as bad as launching on slicks. You'd be sure to break something that way. But hey, if it hooks, you'd improve that 60ft!

j/k, ehh... don't worry about the driveline, I only broke the rear differential, messed up the stock driveshaft, borke a transmission mount, screwed up the tranny, and broke the stock tranny mount, Wait, thats pretty much everything?



I just picked up a stock z28 exhaust, I doubt it will imporve my times, may even hurt them but I been sidetracked into autoXing recently.

On those launches did you spin or bog?

also do you have LSD?

I think you are capable of a better 60', especially if you have a lsd. I think I was around 2.25Xs with my 3.23s and open differential. I have to go visit my place once this month and dig through my old timeslips.

Enough of this small time stuff, we need you looking into the big times. It would really make my day to see a 3.4L running the fastest, though it unlikely but It would be nice. [img]graemlins/fluffy.gif[/img]

Im spinning a bit on those 2.2 sec 60s I haven't got enough practice to get a better launch.

yes I have LSD. Im also running hotchkis boxed LCAs, my launch should be way better, thats why Im saying the car has a low 15 in it ;)

but I just haven't figured out how to get a 2.0 or lower 60 ft....
