I just got some new rims that weigh about 5 lbs heavier than the stock rims each. How much will my 1/4 go down by?

the 100lbs rule refers to loose weight in the car. for every 10 lbs of rotational mass it is thought to account for .1
so a total of 20 extra pounds amounts to .2
now, that is just the rims, are you using the same tires? or is this rim larger in diameter/width? if you are moving from a 16 to 17 inch rim then you also need to weigh the tires. my 17" rims are only 1/2 a pound heavier each compared to my stock 16s, BUT, the tires each weigh about 12 pounds more, which amounted to about a 50lb weight difference. Last week I was running 15.5 on my 17's, switched to 16's and ran 15.0
