• Why such a low trap?

I'm trying to compare to others and it seems everyone is trapping at or above 90MPH with my time. What am I doing wrong that I'm dying at the top-end?
If it helps...my total run was as follows:
R/T 1.082 (oh well...oops...didn't see the green )
60' - 2.139
330 - 6.251
1/8 - 9.689@70.91
1000 - 12.683
1/4 - 15.246@88.03MPH

why is this so low...if I can get that over 90 I can guarantee myself a spot in the 14sec club! Suggestions welcomed...thanks!

Do you run with your spare tire and jack? do you have a couple of subs? Are you shifting into 4th/5th instead of rapping 3rd/4th on out? Back when I was drag racing I had a buddy that was about 40 lbs lighter, I ran quicker but he ran faster. His trap speed was alwas 3-4 mph faster. We swaped bikes and the results where always the same. I even tried putiing it up a gear to get the trap speed.....all I got was a slower E.T.
I have made a lot of money in my life, most of which I spent on cars and women.<p>The rest I have blown.

Yea I'm driving with the jack and the spare tire . As for subs, nope, stock sound system. And btw, it's an auto so I got no 5th gear Anyone else have more advise?

That MPH is normal. People who are trapping at 90+ have some mods done. BTW, nice ET.

Sounds about right to me too. Work on that 60' a lil. and u could see 15.1's or 15.0s.

Good luck Mike

BTW take the STB off at the track.

I took out my subs and spare tire and then cutout my airbox and I dropped 3 tenths and got into the 14s. Do the free ram air mod it really works. I gained 2mph in my trap speed.
Check out this website for the free ram air mod.
