I am hitting the strip for the 2nd time on Sunday with the goal of 14's in mind! The first time I ran I think I made 12 passes w/ a best of a 15.137 on my second run ever. What can I do to get the car ready for the strip this time? Besides the seats, spare, and jack what easy stuff can I remove? What would be a good PSI to run for the front and rear street tires? What RPM should I launch the 5 spd? (I have 3.23 gears w/ an open rear-end.)
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
i feathered in my clutch in at 4000 with street tires... best 60' was 2.166 and i was guessing my tire pressure, i didnt have a guage with me. good luck, i know you can do it too.
Zach, thats only part of your timeslip - whats the rest of it man?
